Verse (33:28), Word 11 - Quranic Grammar

The eleventh word of verse (33:28) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The form IV imperative verb (فعل أمر) is second person feminine plural. The verb's triliteral root is ʿayn lām wāw (ع ل و). The suffix (التاء) is an attached subject pronoun.
