Verse (2:245), Word 15 - Quranic Grammar

The fifteenth word of verse (2:245) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A circumstantial particle, preposition and object pronoun. The connective particle wa is usually translated as "while" and is used to indicate the circumstance of events. The attached object pronoun is third person masculine singular. Together the segments form a preposition phrase known as jār wa majrūr (جار ومجرور).
