Verse (27:44), Word 19 - Quranic Grammar

The nineteenth word of verse (27:44) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A noun and possessive pronoun. The noun is masculine and is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The noun's triliteral root is rā bā bā (ر ب ب). The of the first person singular possessive pronoun has been omitted due to elision (الياء محذوفة), and is indicated by the kasrah.

Verse (27:44)

The analysis above refers to the 44th verse of chapter 27 (sūrat l-naml):

Sahih International: She was told, "Enter the palace." But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water and uncovered her shins [to wade through]. He said, "Indeed, it is a palace [whose floor is] made smooth with glass." She said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah , Lord of the worlds."
