Verse (26:12), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

The sixth word of verse (26:12) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The form II imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine plural and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is kāf dhāl bā (ك ذ ب). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun. The of the first person singular object pronoun has been omitted due to elision (الياء محذوفة), and is indicated by the kasrah.
