Verse (25:33), Word 7 - Quranic Grammar

__

The seventh word of verse (25:33) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and noun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The noun is masculine singular and is in the genitive case (مجرور). The case marker is a fatḥah instead of a kasrah because the noun is a diptote (ممنوع من الصرف). The noun's triliteral root is ḥā sīn nūn (ح س ن).
