Verse (24:8), Word 5 - Quranic Grammar

The fifth word of verse (24:8) is an imperfect verb (فعل مضارع). The verb is third person feminine singular and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is shīn hā dāl (ش ه د).
