Verse (24:32), Word 4 - Quranic Grammar

The fourth word of verse (24:32) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and active participle. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The active participle is masculine plural and is in the accusative case (منصوب). The active participle's triliteral root is ṣād lām ḥā (ص ل ح).
