The fourth word of verse (22:12) is a proper noun in the genitive case (مجرور). The proper noun's triliteral root is hamza lām hā (أ ل ه).

Sahih International: He invokes instead of Allah that which neither harms him nor benefits him. That is what is the extreme error.
