Verse (21:88), Word 1 - Quranic Grammar

The first word of verse (21:88) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The form X perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. Sahih International: So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.
