Verse (20:77), Word 13 - Quranic Grammar


The thirteenth word of verse (20:77) is an indefinite masculine singular adjective and is in the accusative case (منصوب). The adjective's triliteral root is yā bā sīn (ي ب س).

(20:77:13) How come موصوف is مجرور and صفت is منصوب. Should they not match?
