Verse (20:20), Word 1 - Quranic Grammar

The first word of verse (20:20) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and object pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine singular.
