Abdul Rahman 20th December, 2009 Feminine. Although this noun appears to be masculine (because it does not carry any of the recognized feminine endings) it is nevertheless feminine because of its meaning. The word can never refer to a male, since it means "a barren, sterile woman". A similar word is "Haamil", meaning "a pregnant woman".
