Verse (19:46), Word 10 - Quranic Grammar

The tenth word of verse (19:46) is divided into 4 morphological segments. An emphatic prefix, verb, emphatic suffix and object pronoun. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is first person singular and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع).
