Verse (18:56), Word 10 - Quranic Grammar

The tenth word of verse (18:56) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A preposition and active participle. The prefixed preposition bi is usually translated as "with" or "by". The active participle is masculine and is in the genitive case (مجرور). The active participle's triliteral root is bā ṭā lām (ب ط ل).
