Verse (17:62), Word 8 - Quranic Grammar

The eighth word of verse (17:62) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The form II perfect verb (فعل ماض) is second person masculine singular. The verb's triliteral root is hamza khā rā (أ خ ر). The suffix (التاء) is an attached subject pronoun. The of the first person singular object pronoun has been omitted due to elision (الياء محذوفة), and is indicated by the kasrah.
