Verse (17:61), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

The sixth word of verse (17:61) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine plural.
