Verse (17:21), Word 7 - Quranic Grammar

The seventh word of verse (17:21) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, emphatic prefix and noun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis. The noun is feminine singular and is in the nominative case (مرفوع).
