Verse (16:17), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

The sixth word of verse (16:17) is divided into 3 morphological segments. An interrogative alif, supplemental particle and negative particle. The prefixed alif is an interrogative particle used to form a question and is usually translated as "is", "are", or "do". The supplemental particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so".
