Verse (15:22), Word 8 - Quranic Grammar

The eighth word of verse (15:22) is divided into 5 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb, subject pronoun and two object pronouns. The prefixed conjunction fa is usually translated as "and". The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is sīn qāf yā (س ق ي). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun. The attached first object pronoun is second person masculine plural. The attached second object pronoun is third person masculine singular.

Sahih International: And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers.
