Verse (13:42), Word 14 - Quranic Grammar

__

The fourteenth word of verse (13:42) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, future particle and verb. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The prefixed future particle sa is used in combination with the imperfect (present tense) verb to form the future tense. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine singular and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is ʿayn lām mīm (ع ل م).
