Verse (11:119), Word 10 - Quranic Grammar

The tenth word of verse (11:119) is divided into 3 morphological segments. An emphatic prefix, verb and emphatic suffix. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is first person singular and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is mīm lām hamza (م ل أ). The suffixed emphatic particle is known as the nūn of emphasis (نون التوكيد).

Sahih International: Except whom your Lord has given mercy, and for that He created them. But the word of your Lord is to be fulfilled that, "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and men all together."
