Verse (10:11), Word 11 - Quranic Grammar

The eleventh word of verse (10:11) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A resumption particle and verb. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is first person plural and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is wāw dhāl rā (و ذ ر).

Sahih International: And if Allah was to hasten for the people the evil [they invoke] as He hastens for them the good, their term would have been ended for them. But We leave the ones who do not expect the meeting with Us, in their transgression, wandering blindly
