Verse (109:6), Word 4 - Quranic Grammar


The fourth word of verse (109:6) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A noun and possessive pronoun. The noun is masculine and is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The noun's triliteral root is dāl yā nūn (د ي ن). The of the first person singular possessive pronoun has been omitted due to elision (الياء محذوفة), and is indicated by the kasrah.
