Sahih International: And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,

Pickthall: And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony,

Yusuf Ali: By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;-

Shakir: And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne.

Muhammad Sarwar: and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment),

Mohsin Khan: And by the witnessing day (i.e. Friday), and by the witnessed day [i.e. the day of 'Arafat (Hajj) the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah];
