Sahih International: Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness;

Pickthall: He verily lived joyous with his folk,

Yusuf Ali: Truly, did he go about among his people, rejoicing!

Shakir: Surely he was (erstwhile) joyful among his followers.

Muhammad Sarwar: They lived among their people joyfully

Mohsin Khan: Verily, he was among his people in joy!

Arberry: He once lived among his family joyfully;
