Chapter (83) sūrat l-muṭafifīn (Those Who Deal in Fraud)

Sahih International: But they had not been sent as guardians over them.

Pickthall: Yet they were not sent as guardians over them.

Yusuf Ali: But they had not been sent as keepers over them!

Shakir: And they were not sent to be keepers over them.

Muhammad Sarwar: No one has appointed them to watch over the believers.

Mohsin Khan: But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers).

Arberry: Yet they were not sent as watchers over them.
