Chapter (77) sūrat l-mur'salāt (Those sent forth)

Sahih International: Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.

Pickthall: Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses.

Yusuf Ali: Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas.

Shakir: And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses.

Muhammad Sarwar: nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses.

Mohsin Khan: And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse.

Arberry: neither be given leave, and excuse themselves.
