Sahih International: On the Day the sky will be like murky oil,

Pickthall: The day when the sky will become as molten copper,

Yusuf Ali: The Day that the sky will be like molten brass,

Shakir: On the day when the heaven shall be as molten copper

Muhammad Sarwar: On the day when the heavens become like molten metal.

Mohsin Khan: The Day that the sky will be like the boiling filth of oil, (or molten copper or silver or lead, etc.).

Arberry: Upon the day when heaven shall be as molten copper
