Chapter (70) sūrat l-maʿārij (The Ways of Ascent)

Sahih International: Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. That is the Day which they had been promised.

Pickthall: With eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised.

Yusuf Ali: Their eyes lowered in dejection,- ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised!

Shakir: Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with.

Muhammad Sarwar: with their eyes cast down and covered by disgrace; the day about which they were promised.

Mohsin Khan: With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised!

Arberry: humbled their eyes, overspreading them abasement. That is the day which they were promised.
