Chapter (70) sūrat l-maʿārij (The Ways of Ascent)

Sahih International: No! Indeed, We have created them from that which they know.

Pickthall: Nay, verily. Lo! We created them from what they know.

Yusuf Ali: By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know!

Shakir: By no means! Surely We have created them of what they know.

Muhammad Sarwar: By no means! For they know very well out of what We have created them (The human being's naturally growing from a living germ, without discipline and good deeds will not result in virtue).

Mohsin Khan: No, that is not like that! Verily, We have created them out of that which they know!

Arberry: Not so; for We have created them of what they know.
