Sahih International: Indeed, mankind was created anxious:

Pickthall: Lo! man was created anxious,

Yusuf Ali: Truly man was created very impatient;-

Shakir: Surely man is created of a hasty temperament

Muhammad Sarwar: Human beings are created greedy.

Mohsin Khan: Verily, man (disbeliever) was created very impatient;

Arberry: Surely man was created fretful,
