Chapter (69) sūrat l-ḥāqah (The Inevitable)

Sahih International: Then We would have cut from him the aorta.

Pickthall: And then severed his life-artery,

Yusuf Ali: And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart:

Shakir: Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta.

Muhammad Sarwar: and cut-off his main artery.

Mohsin Khan: And then certainly should have cut off his life artery (Aorta),

Arberry: then We would surely have cut his life-vein
