Sahih International: Covering the people; this is a painful torment.

Pickthall: That will envelop the people. This will be a painful torment.

Yusuf Ali: Enveloping the people: this will be a Penalty Grievous.

Shakir: That shall overtake men; this is a painful punishment.

Muhammad Sarwar: which will smother the people. They will say, "This is a painful torment.

Mohsin Khan: Covering the people, this is a painful torment.
