Chapter (43) sūrat l-zukh'ruf (The Gold Adornment)

Sahih International: Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private conversations? Yes, [We do], and Our messengers are with them recording.

Pickthall: Or deem they that We cannot hear their secret thoughts and private confidences? Nay, but Our envoys, present with them, do record.

Yusuf Ali: Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsels? Indeed (We do), and Our messengers are by them, to record.

Shakir: Or do they think that We do not hear what they conceal and their secret discourses? Aye! and Our messengers with them write down.

Muhammad Sarwar: Do they think that We do not hear their secrets and whispers? We certainly can hear them and Our Messengers record it all.

Mohsin Khan: Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsel? (Yes We do) and Our Messengers (appointed angels in charge of mankind) are by them, to record.

Arberry: Or do they think We hear not their secret and what they conspire together? Yes indeed, and Our messengers are present with them writing it down.
