Sahih International: But there would not come to them a prophet except that they used to ridicule him.

Pickthall: And never came there unto them a prophet but they used to mock him.

Yusuf Ali: And never came there a prophet to them but they mocked him.

Shakir: And there came not to them a prophet but they mocked at him.

Muhammad Sarwar: No Prophet came to them whom they did not mock.

Mohsin Khan: And never came there a Prophet to them but they used to mock at him.

Arberry: but not a Prophet came to them, without they mocked at him;
