Chapter (42) sūrat l-shūrā (Consultation)

Sahih International: And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive,

Pickthall: And those who shun the worst of sins and indecencies and, when they are wroth, forgive,

Yusuf Ali: Those who avoid the greater crimes and shameful deeds, and, when they are angry even then forgive;

Shakir: And those who. shun the great sins and indecencies, and whenever they are angry they forgive.

Muhammad Sarwar: (This reward will be for) those who keep away from major sins and indecency, who forgive when they are made angry,

Mohsin Khan: And those who avoid the greater sins, and Al-Fawahish (illegal sexual intercourse, etc.), and when they are angry, they forgive
