Chapter (39) sūrat l-zumar (The Groups)

Sahih International: [To them] it will be said, "Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant."

Pickthall: It is said (unto them): Enter ye the gates of hell to dwell therein. Thus hapless is the journey's end of the scorners.

Yusuf Ali: (To them) will be said: "Enter ye the gates of Hell, to dwell therein: and evil is (this) Abode of the Arrogant!"

Shakir: It shall be said: Enter the gates of hell to abide therein; so evil is the abode of the proud.

Muhammad Sarwar: They will be told, "Enter the gates of hell to live therein forever. What a terrible dwelling for the arrogant ones!"

Mohsin Khan: It will be said (to them): "Enter you the gates of Hell, to abide therein. And (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant!"

Arberry: It shall be said, 'Enter the gates of Gehenna, to dwell therein forever.' How evil is the lodging of those that are proud!
