Sahih International: He will say, "By Allah , you almost ruined me.

Pickthall: He saith: By Allah, thou verily didst all but cause my ruin,

Yusuf Ali: He said: "By Allah! thou wast little short of bringing me to perdition!

Shakir: He shall say: By Allah! you had almost caused me to perish;

Muhammad Sarwar: He will say to his friend in hell, "By God, you almost destroyed me.

Mohsin Khan: He said: "By Allah! You have nearly ruined me.

Arberry: He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me;
