Chapter (37) sūrat l-ṣāfāt (Those Ranges in Ranks)

Sahih International: " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars.

Pickthall: Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie.

Yusuf Ali: "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars!

Shakir: Allah has begotten; and most surely they are liars.

Muhammad Sarwar: 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars.

Mohsin Khan: "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars!

Arberry: 'God has begotten?' They are truly liars.
