Chapter (26) sūrat l-shuʿarā (The Poets)

Sahih International: And they have upon me a [claim due to] sin, so I fear that they will kill me."

Pickthall: And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they will kill me.

Yusuf Ali: "And (further), they have a charge of crime against me; and I fear they may slay me."

Shakir: And they have a crime against me, therefore I fear that they may slay me.

Muhammad Sarwar: They have charged me [with a crime] for which I am afraid they will kill me."

Mohsin Khan: "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me."

Arberry: They also have a sin against me, and I fear they will slay me.'
