Chapter (23) sūrat l-mu'minūn (The Believers)

Sahih International: And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers.

Pickthall: If ye were to obey a mortal like yourselves, then, lo! ye surely would be losers.

Yusuf Ali: "If ye obey a man like yourselves, behold, it is certain ye will be lost.

Shakir: And if you obey a mortal like yourselves, then most surely you will be losers:

Muhammad Sarwar: If you follow a mortal like yourselves you will certainly be lost.

Mohsin Khan: "If you were to obey a human being like yourselves, then verily! You indeed would be losers.

Arberry: If you obey a mortal like yourselves, then you will be losers.
