Chapter (23) sūrat l-mu'minūn (The Believers)

Sahih International: They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate."

Pickthall: They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count!

Yusuf Ali: They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account."

Shakir: They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account.

Muhammad Sarwar: They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count".

Mohsin Khan: They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account."

Arberry: They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!'
