Chapter (21) sūrat l-anbiyāa (The Prophets)

Sahih International: Allah said, "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham."

Pickthall: We said: O fire, be coolness and peace for Abraham,

Yusuf Ali: We said, "O Fire! be thou cool, and (a means of) safety for Abraham!"

Shakir: We said: O fire! be a comfort and peace to Ibrahim;

Muhammad Sarwar: We said to the fire, "Be cool and peaceful (with Abraham)".

Mohsin Khan: We (Allah) said: "O fire! Be you coolness and safety for Ibrahim (Abraham)!"

Arberry: We said, 'O fire, be coolness and safety for Abraham!'
