Chapter (19) sūrat maryam (Mary)

Sahih International: [An angel] said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, for I created you before, while you were nothing.' "

Pickthall: He said: So (it will be). Thy Lord saith: It is easy for Me, even as I created thee before, when thou wast naught.

Yusuf Ali: He said: "So (it will be) thy Lord saith, 'that is easy for Me: I did indeed create thee before, when thou hadst been nothing!'"

Shakir: He said: So shall it be, your Lord says: It is easy to Me, and indeed I created you before, when you were nothing.

Muhammad Sarwar: (The angel) said, "This is true, but your Lord says, 'For Me it is easy; I created you when you did not exist".

Mohsin Khan: He said: "So (it will be). Your Lord says; It is easy for Me. Certainly I have created you before, when you had been nothing!"

Arberry: Said He, 'So it shall be; thy Lord says, "Easy is that for Me, seeing that I created thee aforetime, when thou wast nothing."'
