Chapter (10) sūrat yūnus (Jonah)

Sahih International: Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allah is truth, but most of them do not know

Pickthall: Lo! verily all that is in the heavens and the earth is Allah's. Lo! verily Allah's promise is true. But most of them know not.

Yusuf Ali: Is it not (the case) that to Allah belongeth whatever is in the heavens and on earth? Is it not (the case) that Allah's promise is assuredly true? Yet most of them understand not.

Shakir: Now surely Allah's is what is in the heavens and the earth; now surely Allah's promise is true, but most of them do not know.

Muhammad Sarwar: All that is in the heavens and the earth certainly belongs to God and His promise is true, but many people do not know this.

Mohsin Khan: No doubt, surely, all that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah. No doubt, surely, Allah's Promise is true. But most of them know not.

Arberry: Why, surely to God belongs everything that is in the heavens and earth. Why, surely God's promise is true; but the most of them have no knowledge
