The triliteral root kāf mīm lām (ك م ل) occurs five times in the Quran, in three derived forms:

  • twice as the form IV verb akmal (أَكْمَلْ)
  • once as the active participle kāmilayn (كَامِلَيْن)
  • twice as the active participle kāmilat (كَامِلَة)

(2:185:36) walituk'milūso that you complete وَلِتُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ
