The triliteral root rā kāf bā (ر ك ب) occurs 15 times in the Quran, in seven derived forms:

  • nine times as the form I verb rakiba (رَكِبَ)
  • once as the form II verb rakkaba (رَكَّبَ)
  • once as the noun rikāb (رِكَاب)
  • once as the noun rakb (رَّكْب)
  • once as the noun ruk'bān (رُكْبَان)
