The triliteral root lām dhāl dhāl (ل ذ ذ) occurs three times in the Quran, in two derived forms:

  • once as the form I verb taladhu (تَلَذُّ)
  • twice as the adjective ladhat (لَذَّة)

Adjective

(37:46:2) ladhatindelicious بَيْضَاءَ لَذَّةٍ لِلشَّارِبِينَ
