The triliteral root hā yā hamza (ه ي أ) occurs four times in the Quran, in two derived forms:

  • twice as the form II verb yuhayyi (يُهَيِّئْ)
  • twice as the noun hayat (هَيْـَٔة)

Verb (form II) - to facilitate

(18:10:12) wahayyiand facilitate رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
(18:16:15) wayuhayyiand will facilitate يَنْشُرْ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ مِنْ رَحْمَتِهِ وَيُهَيِّئْ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَمْرِكُمْ مِرْفَقًا

Noun

(3:49:16) kahayatilike the form أَنِّي أَخْلُقُ لَكُمْ مِنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ فَأَنْفُخُ فِيهِ
(5:110:31) kahayatilike the shape وَإِذْ تَخْلُقُ مِنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ بِإِذْنِي
