The triliteral root ghayn rā mīm (غ ر م) occurs six times in the Quran, in four derived forms:

  • once as the noun gharām (غَرَام)
  • three times as the noun maghram (مَّغْرَم)
  • once as the active participle ghārimīn (غَٰرِمِين)
  • once as the form IV passive participle mugh'ramūn (مُغْرَمُون)
